iPhoneography: Just Desserts

I didn’t create these. The bakery artisans at Central Market in Fort Worth did. They really are artists and dessert is their palette. Other than the wine department and the cheese section (Central Market is the only place you can get fresh cheese curds in DFW), the Dessert Department is my favorite in the market. Okay, really it’s called the bakery, but that’s what they the place where they make the bread. The Dessert Department is where dreams lined with tiny cream puffs are made.

My dream is to someday walk into Central Market’s bakery and say “I’ll take them all.”

    that’s a great shot – I’ve only been following you for a little, but should I assume that TiltShift Generator is what gave you that field of view? What a great pin-point focus!

    Hi, Jay!

    Yeah, I love Tiltshift Generator! It has great controls and depending on the photo, it creates the most awesome depth of field that you can’t normally get on an iPhone. It does much more than create miniature-style pictures.

    Great food photo! Are you using the 3Gs? Do you use any add-on lenses? Yours is one of three iphoneography blogs that I follow, great job.

    ba, Max, thank you!

    @Max,
    I’m using an old 8GB 2G. I’ll be upgrading to a 3GS later this year. No add-on lenses, although I’ve seen a couple of cases with add-on lenses that I’ll probably get when I upgrade. Everything I do is in camera and with apps.
