pic.me iPhone 4 Tripod Case in the Works

Back in December, 2010, I reviewed the pic.me Tripod Case for iPhone 3G/3GS. It’s a lightweight and low profile case that that transforms into a multi-angle tripod stand. It also transforms into a viewing stand. Now, an iPhone 4 version of the case is in the works.

LomoLomo 1.2.1 for iPhone and iPad Effects Grid

With 11 “lens” effects and 6 different frames, LomoLomo may not have the largest set of photo effects in the App Store, but the analog film-style effects it has are lush and nicely done. We’ve created a high resolution effects grid of all the LomoLomo lens effects and all of the frames of the latest version 1.2.1.

Halftone creates great looking old, pulpy, comic book style style effects, but saves images at low resolution only good for online sharing.

iPhone App Review: LomoLomo Has Been Updated and Improved

The LomoLomo App Store description beats you over the head with “Don’t Think. Just Shoot.” which is a good mantra for iPhoneographers to have. If you’ve already purchased LomoLomo Pro, recent updates have addressed many of the usability issues of the app and it’s worth a revisit. It’s now pretty good and the developer seems to push out more improvements on a steady basis. If you only downloaded the free LomoLomo, dropping a buck for the Pro version will get you more of the app’s great films.

100 Cameras in One is not bad. Not great. Some of the filters can produce unique, pleasing results. Many of them seem to be just overlays or filler.

Pudding Camera 1.2.3 Update Released – Now iOS 4.1 Only

The 1.2.3 update to the popular free toy camera camera app, Pudding Camera, was released recently. It’s mostly a bug-fix update with no new features or filters. A couple of the filters have been fixed, performance has been improved, and the app now requires iOS 4.1 or newer.
