Plastic Bullet is a toy camera app that applies random variations of saturation, blur, light leaks, color shifts and vignetting to create the sort of “happy accidents” that contributed to the popularity of Lomography. It usually sells for $1.99, and occasionally goes on sale for $0.99.
My one complaint is that if you import a square format photo it crops it to the standard 4:3 iPhone aspect ratio. If Red Giant Software fixes this issue, it will be one of my go-to apps.
Even if you love square format photos as much as I do, I highly recommend you grab Plastic Bullet now while it is free. The effects are gorgeous, and cycling through screen after screen of random variations can become a little addictive.
