The new update to Filterstorm is nearly ready to street. The developer, Tai Shimizu, has posted the video above for a quick preview of the redesigned iPhone interface of Filterstorm 3.
Many iPhoneographers swear by Filterstorm and its ability to mask effects. While Filterstorm is undoubtedly one of the more powerful image editors for iPhone and iPad, one reason I rarely used it is the interface was difficult for me to use accurately with my big fingers. The new interface is much cleaner, looks much easier to navigate through, and best of all, looks big finger friendly. I can’t wait to try the updated Filterstorm 3.
UPDATE 06.15.11 @ 12:40: Looks like Filterstorm 3 is getting a new, high-res logo as well. The developer Tai Shimizu has sent it along and I’ve updated this post to include a preview of the new Filterstorm 3 logo. =M=
FS3 should be available at the end of June, 2011 and is a free update from Filterstorm 2.Â
Filterstorm 2 is $3.99 in the App Store. Current version requirements: Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Requires iOS 3.2 or later.
