I’m not sure why there’s usually a ton of app sales on Black Friday, but I’m thankful nonetheless. Oh, wait, that was yesterday.
Here are several more worthwhile apps on sale right now in the App Store. If you’re new to iPhoneography, here’s a good chance to fill out your toolbox and save a bunch of money.

PictureShow is a lo-fi classic. It’s an excellent photo app that emulates various toy camera styles. It enables you to mix and edit such effects as frames, light leaks and noise in your iPhone photography. You can read my review of the 3.0 update here. It normally sells for $1.99. Phoster makes it quick and easy to “create stylish posters and various invitation cards” on your iPhone. Many of the frames are pretty cool and well-designed with a very Gotham or European design sensibility and feel to them. I’ve seen iPhoneographers create great-looking posters and ads for their own exhibitions using this app. It normally sells for $1.99. It’s also on sale now for only $0.99 for the holiday. |
