Giveaway: Win a FREE copy of Etchings!

Submitted by on September 10, 2012 – 1:20 am 15 Comments

Etchings app for iPhonePhoto app Etchings was recently released. The app features eight variations of etching styles — from classic etching styles to more complex variations. Out of over 100 App Store ratings, it has a 4.5 star average. In my preview of the app, I liked it a lot and the developer is working not only with the iPhoneography community, but with etching artisans to improve the app for future updates.

I’ve got a few copies of Etchings to give away today. To see how you can win one, keep reading past the jump. >>>

There is nothing quite like Etchings in the App Store. It’s a very fast and easy app to use that adds the look of classic etchings to your images — the same style as printed currencies. It adds a unique, high-contrast crosshatch effect to your photos. Images only save in square format at 1200×1200 pixels in this first release. The developers are working to increase that in a future update.

Yes, please! Just noticed the black bar at the bottom of the website – threw me off a bit. It looks like the browser is lifted up to reveal my desktop even though my desk top isn't black, or looks like another browser behind….Interesting…

      Hi, Jeannie!

I've been rolling out some new social features. The new social bar at the bottom of the page is one of them. I'm finishing up a makeover for the blog. I'll be rolling it out at the end of the month.
