Photo Remind

photo remindPhoto Remind is a slick utility that will help you keep track of all those shots you pass by but intend to return to.

Photo Remind is for FREE today for a very limited time. Grab it fast and save $1.99. This one’s been discounted for several hours now and the price may go back up at any time. UPDATE 01.22.13: Photo Remind has now gone back to its regular price of $1.99.

Keep all the great locations you find and want to return again, add notes and supporting images. Photo Remind is a good app for any photographer, not just iPhoneography.

When I’m out shooting, we often drive by great photographs that we don’t stop for but still want to get back to someday. There are a number of reasons — lack of time, the light might be better at a different time of day.

Easily shoot a reminder snapshot. The app Geotags it for you, or you can manually position the location pin. You can write a location summary and notes about the shot. The app can even notify you when your back in near proximity, although I haven’t tested this feature and have no idea if it chews up your battery or not.

Photo Remind is a good utility to help you keep track of those shots that you really want to come back to, but eventually forget about. Photo Remind gives you a second chance at some once in a lifetime shots.

Hurry up and grab this. Normally $1.99, it’s free for a limited time only. Requirements: Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iPad (3rd generation), iPad Wi-Fi + 4G, iPad (4th generation), iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular (4th generation), iPad mini and iPad mini Wi-Fi + Cellular. Requires iOS 5.0 or later. This app is optimized for iPhone 5.
