AppleInsider is reporting that Apple has opened up at least 24 new positions for their in-house camera hardware and software engineering teams. This further illustrates that Apple takes iPhoneography seriously and how the iPhone and other mobile devices have changed photography.

Juggling Dreams

Juggling Dreams by Ali Jardine

Here is this week’s iPhoneography showcase, Faved On Flickr. These are just a few of the excellent photographs and iPhone artworks that were shared to Life In LoFi’s Flickr group.

It’s a strong selection of photography this week. Keep reading to see all of the images in this week’s showcase. >>>

The lede this week is another fantastic work from Ali Jardine. The image touches upon dreams on many levels. I love the oversaturated colors that add to the dreamlike quality of the image. For me, the juggling comes inside the dream itself — a very interesting and playful image. The child as subject gives the photo a wonderful sense of innocence.

This week’s showcase also features great photography and iPhone art from Sarah Jarrett, Jaime Ferreyros, Alon Goldsmith, Paula Gardener, Robson Santos, Melissa Vincent, Wilder Biral, Andrew Proudlove, Gusbano, Lola Mitchell, Ale Di Gangi, Mark T Simmons and many others.

Each link goes to the iPhoneographer’s Flickr photostream. Many iPhoneographers share the apps they used to create the images, so I encourage you to click the links and explore their photostreams further.

Want To Submit Your Images? Here’s How…

We welcome submissions from anyone with an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. To have your works considered, simply post your images to Life In LoFi’s Flickr group. Images must be shot and processed using only an iDevice. Sundays, we feature a brand new showcase of more great iPhone photography.

There are many other stunning works posted in our Flickr group. Be sure to stop by there and have a look at the many other images that I couldn’t fit into this piece.

Please enjoy the set this week. As always, it’s the iPhoneographers who deserve the credit. My sincere thanks to all of the iPhoneographers in this week’s post and in the Flickr group. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you, Marco. I have to say, the number of great works that are shared by the community often makes this feature very difficult to do.

“Surviving in the grey” by Jahsharn is a stunning portrait. The lighting is perfect and lovely and echoes the girl’s expression and the emotion in her face. Fantastic !!
Also, “Teeter” by Alon Goldsmith is a wonderful image of one of my favorite sports!! The sky’s rich sunset colors are an awesome contrast against the black. The contails and Cirrus clouds are beautiful elements of delicate gracefulness which both contrast the skater’s hard world yet also echo the graceful movements hidden within the art of skateboarding. Goldsmith is totally involved in the moment as much as is the Skateboarder. Very captivating!
