ProCamera was recently updated and we’ve got a few copies to give away this weekend. The app is in my opinion one of the best overall camera replacement apps available for iPhoneography. Throughout the years and many updates, the core of ProCamera has stayed focused on shooting and getting the best photo possible in camera before you work on it. It’s still my go-to camera of choice when I work.

The ProCamera 4.2 update got a few new features, including adjustable video framerate to that lets you create interesting in-camera effects. There’s also a new Exhibition feature. Working in partnership with some of ProCamera’s elite iPhoneography exhibitors, you can submit your works for consideration in some high-profile brick and mortar iPhoneography shows, including the upcoming IPA Quarterly powered by ProCamera at the Santa Monica Art Studios.

ProCamera has many big features with minimal clutter. I like that all but the essential tools stay out of the way when I shoot. It’s got one of the best cameras available for iPhone, a studio module where you can perform image edits in app, a built-in filters suite, a powerful video camera and many more features. ProCamera gives me the power-user tools I need to shoot great photos and gets me shooting them quickly so I’m less likely to miss the shot.
