The EYE’EM Exhibition opens today in Berlin.

After two rounds of judging, the finalists are being displayed at the Berlin based gallery Schlechtriem Brothers.

The complete list of mobile phone photographers whose work made the final cut for The Short List is here. The jury decision for the final winner will be announced tonight at 7:00 PM local Berlin time.

Images of the Exhibition and gallery have now been posted to the EYE’EM Facebook page. Head over to have a look. It’s public so no Facebook account is required to view the album.

EYE’EM Awards Exhibition 2010 Announced

The EYE’EM Awards Exhibition 2010 have been announced and will be hosted in Berlin at the renowned Schlechtriem Brothers gallery. The winners will be announced on the 22nd of June 2010. The exhibition then runs through June 25th 2010. Thousands of entries have already been received from countries like Japan, Russia, South Africa, Spain, USA, Canada, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Australia – just to name a few. Those unable to attend will be able to follow the awards ceremony online from anywhere in the world on www.eyeem.com.

EYE’EM CALLING FOR ENTRIES NOW!

EYE’EM has announced a call for entries for the EYE’EM Mobile Photography Award 2010. Entries from any mobile device are accepted, not just iPhones. Also, you are permitted to use desktop apps such as Photoshop to retouch your images.

Sion Fullana is judging this year’s EYE’EM Award. Sion is a professional photographer, journalist and filmmaker living in New York City. He has been featured in photography blogs and magazines, such as Time Out NY, Photocritic.org, American Photo Magazine and Wink-Magazine. In a very short period of time, he has become a celebrated pioneer in cellphone photography, using his 3G iPhone and experimenting with a select group of iPhone photo apps. He is one of iPhoneography’s most recognized members.
