Many iPhone Photo Apps Now Certified iOS 5 Compatible

Whether or not you got a the spiffy new iPhone 4S, have you upgraded to iOS 5 yet? It’s a great iOS update once you get it on your device. Even better, most of the apps I use daily have had no problems with the new OS.

My iPhone is now updated. All in-app photo albums restored. I didn’t lose any Hipstamatic lenses in the update. Now, to take iOS 5 for a shakedown….

Over the weekend, I was able to use an iPhone 4 with a golden master — basically a release copy — of iOS 5. I didn’t have much hands on time with it, but here are my thoughts and a few screenshots of the greatly improved Apple Camera and Photos apps.
