TtV Camera is a new photo app that simulates through the viewfinder photography. It replicates an image that was shot through a viewfinder of various fictitious square-frame TLRs. The effects are nice, but the output is low-res. $2.99 is a little pricey for an app that’s little more than an Instagram companion.

Lumiere is a new photo app that takes toy camera and analog photo style pictures. It’s got some great features, but the app has a few version 1.0 issues, though, which could be easily fixed in future updates.

The Pixels: The Art of the iPhone exhibition at the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art in Santa Ana, California opens in a few weeks. The show runs from March 31 through April 28, 2011 at OCCCA then moves to the Arty Gallery in Downtown Los Angeles for an additional two month run.
