AutoPainter for iPhone On Sale Today Only!

Submitted by on May 6, 2011 – 12:23 am 3 Comments

AutoPainter for iPhone and iPod Touch is on sale today only for $0.99 — that’s $1.00 off the regular price.

I recently reviewed AutoPainter. It turns your photos into classical-looking “paintings” that look like they were painted by classic masters. I like how well it recreates the styles of the few painters it features, as well as how well it recreates the media it’s painted on. It only saves at 1280×954 pixels, which is perfect for online sharing to Facebook, Flickr, email or blogs. Unfortunately, its file sizes are too small to do the really big enlargements that would be really cool with this app.

The app is normally $1.99, but it’s on sale today only for $0.99. Mediachance are already working on the next update, so this is a great opportunity to get into the upgrade path.

There’s also a native iPad version AutoPainter HD available for $1.99. Requirements: Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Requires iOS 4.0 or later.

Try clicking through to the app's description screen. I just checked at 1:49 PM Central time and it shows up for me as $0.99.
