LA Mobile Arts Festival Opening Gala – You are invited!

Submitted by on August 5, 2012 – 1:19 am

In two weeks, iPhoneArt.com and The Santa Monica Art Studios present the LA Mobile Arts Festival 2012. The exhibition runs August 18-26, 2012 at the Santa Monica Art Studios. The Opening Gala is Saturday, August 18 at 7:00pm. The public is invited. Admission is free for the gala and there will be a Kuapay / cash bar.

“Los Angeles celebrates the pioneers of iPhoneography and the underground mobile arts movement with the largest mobile photography and mobile art exhibition to date. Over 100 artists showcasing innovative iPhone art as well as interactive digital, sculptural, film / video, and performance based iPhonic installations.”

For more information, to RSVP, and for map and location info, click here to go to the Facebook Event page.

At this time, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to attend the opening, but plenty of other iPhoneographers from the Los Angeles area and around the world will be attending.

If you’re in or near Los Angeles, be sure to visit this high-profile exhibition. If you can, get to the Opening Gala. It’ll be a party.
