I recently reviewed paint app Glaze for iPhone and iPad. Rather than replicate various artists’ styles, Glaze lets you recreate the look of paint on canvas. It’s an easy to use app that adds a variety of painterly effects and styles to your photos and applies high-quality, real-looking effects that let your photos look like they were created on natural media. It supports up to 2048×2048 pixels. You can still easily make good to great quality oversize prints up to 12? or larger. Higher resolutions are planned for future updates. I like the app. It let’s you add your own painterly style and does it with a good starting palette of well-rendered effects.
