The MPAs Announces 2013 Winners

The winners have been announced in all 19 categories of the 2013 Mobile Photo Awards — The MPAs.

Winner/Architecture & Design – CIRCLED by Joanna Lemanska
The competition was a huge success this year with a record number of entries. The quality was extremely high and the juries worked long and hard to determine a slate of winners and runners up. Every winning image and runner up along with the honorable mentions were chosen with careful thoughtfulness.
The winner and first runner-up for each category will be printed and framed for the MPA 2013 gallery tour and that every single honorable mention on the shortlists will be on display at the MPA premiere at the SOHO GALLERY FOR DIGITAL ART in NYC from February 22-28, 2013. So that means that if you see your image on the winning gallery today, you are PART OF THE SHOW!!
Stay tuned…. The MPA photographer of the year and the ArtHaus Photo Essay Contest will be announced in about ten days.

Marty is a self-employed graphic designer in the Fort Worth/Dallas Metroplex. He is an avid Rangers baseball, Chicago Cubs, Packers and Highbury Arsenal fan. In addition to capturing random moments with whatever camera is close by (usually his iPhone), his other interests include coffee, film, music, and traveling in seats 5E and 5F with his fiancé.

Only 12 categories now? I wonder what happened to the original 19 categories not including the Arthaus photo essay?

All of the categories are posted – there are 19 categories. Not sure where the idea of 12 came from.
