The Hipstamatic NSW Always On FreePak update is now live and available as an in-app download in Hipstamatic. This update is free and contains the new Hornbecker lens, as well as the two films and the the Nike case of the previous version of the FreePak. It’s available for a limited time, so download it now.
The Hornbecker lens was originally scheduled to be released on its own, but Hipstamatic and Nike agreed that it was better to extend the availability of the films with this lens.
The lens itself is clear with no visible marks or aberrations. It’s fairly contrasty and I found that it bumps up the color saturation a little bit as well.
The NSW Always On FreePak is only available for a limited time through July 31, 2011, so be sure to grab it now. No word yet on a release date for the Hipstamatic 220 update.
