Happy Monday, everyone. Except to post some personal photos of our Texas Bluebonnets road trip, I stayed away from the internet on Sunday, April 1st. This year, there just seemed to be way too much April Foolery for me. However, I have to give big credit to Whole Foods whose April Fool’s suggestion was to change the “five second rule” to the “seven second rule.” I think that should be made official. I’m completely on board with that one.
No joke — here is this week’s selection of outstanding iPhone photography, the Faved On Flickr iPhone photography showcase for April 2, 2012. These are just a small number of the outstanding images submitted to LoFi’s Flickr group in the past week. Click past the jump for the rest of this week’s showcase. >>>
Sean Hayes’ lead image “Spring” is a great, retro style image that captures the warm childhood memories and joy of the early days of Spring. There are other great photographs from Laura Peischl, ©arlein, Robin Sweet, Lindsey Thompson, Jennifer Bracewell, maansee, Hochlander, Ginger Lucero, and another simple but haunting photo from iPhone0Genic’s Edi Caves, as well as more great mobile photography from many other artists.
Links go back to the iPhonegrapher’s Flickr photostream. There are a lot of first-time appearances in this week’s selections and I encourage you to follow the links and discover new iPhoneographers whose work catches your eye.
Submissions are open to everyone with an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. All you have to do to submit your photography is to post your images to LoFi’s Flickr Group. Sundays, we feature a brand new showcase of outstanding iPhone photography.
There are many other stunning works posted in Life In LoFi’s Flickr group. Please stop by there and have a look at the many other images that I can’t fit into this piece.
Please enjoy this week’s set. As always, it’s the iPhoneographers who deserve the credit. Whether or not you were selected this week, thank you for sharing your art.
