I hope you and yours had a pleasant holiday weekend. We’re back for another Faved showcase.
Here is this week’s selection of outstanding mobile photography, the Faved On Flickr iPhoneography showcase for April 9, 2012. This is just a small selection of the great images from the past week that were shared on Life In LoFi’s Flickr group. There is some brilliant photography this week, as well as several powerful abstracts. Click past the jump to see all of this week’s showcase. >>>
I absolutely love the lead image this week, Dutch Doscher’s “For a better view.” It’s an intimate photograph that not only brings the viewer into the moment, but captures the scale and expanse of the setting. Other great photographs this week include images from Dixon Hamby, Shel Serkin, Michael Andrade, Urban Muser, and a beautiful glamour shot from Donna French. There are some great abstracts, including works by Benamon Tame, ©arlein, maansee, Yuriy Leskiv, and Lynette Jackson.
Links go back to the iPhonegrapher’s Flickr photostream. There are a lot of first-time appearances in this week’s selections and I encourage you to follow the links and discover new iPhoneographers whose work catches your eye.
Submissions are open to everyone with an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. All you have to do to submit your photography is to post your images to LoFi’s Flickr Group. Sundays, we feature a brand new showcase of outstanding iPhone photography.
There are many other stunning works posted in Life In LoFi’s Flickr group. Please stop by there and have a look at the many other images that I can’t fit into this piece.
Please enjoy this week’s set. As always, it’s the iPhoneographers who deserve the credit. Whether or not you were selected this week, thank you for sharing your art.
