This week is the 3rd Anniversary of Life In LoFi. To celebrate, we’re giving away a lot of great photo apps and gear all week long. My love of black & white photography goes back to my childhood when I started shooting PLUS-X Pan in my dad’s old Kodak Brownie camera when I was a kid. So, today’s app giveaway is Hueless, one of my favorite black & white photo apps.

Hueless is an excellent black & white camera app from a great developer who regularly adds great functionality to the app without losing site of its core focus — quickly and easily taking great black & white photos.
The new update was recently released and added even more powerful features, such as a contrast balance slider and easy-access settings presets, while still keeping the interface uncluttered. Hueless is a great camera for shooting black & white.
Hueless is $1.99. Requirements: Compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iPad (3rd generation) and iPad Wi-Fi + 4G. Requires iOS 5.0 or later. An iPhone 5 version is in the works.
