Since the dark, gray, low-contrast days of the first iPhones, I’ve been a Perfectly Clear evangelist. It’s still the best way I’ve found to quickly and easily improve your iPhoneography with just one click.
There are a couple of new updates in the pipeline. Today, I’ve got some promo codes up for grabs. I’ve got more information and a bunch of promo codes up for grabs after the jump. >>>

Perfectly Clear qualifies as a Dynamic Range Correction (DRC) app. With one click, the app analyzes your photo and applies the necessary corrections where they are needed. Its exclusive algorithms automatically adjust contrast, brightness, exposure, vibrance, shadows highlights, tint, white balance and more. Other DRC and “fake flash” apps don’t do nearly as good a job, often taking a blunt, overall approach.
A new update has been submitted to Apple and will be out this week. The new update features an improved Settings panel, as well as how you access it. According to developer Brad Malcolm, it’s “way better.” A new update is already in the works for iOS7 that will look “totally awesome!”
I usually run my images through Perfectly Clear before doing anything else to them. One-button image scrubbing. It’s user-selectable noise reduction feature is one of the best available for iPhone. The recent update now also includes the best, fastest software fix for the “purple haze” sometimes found in iPhone 5 photos. It’s worth it for that alone.
Perfectly Clear’s algorithms are so good, I use the app regularly in my day job graphic design studio. It’s often quicker for me to email a client-supplied image, run it through Perfectly Clear on my iPhone, then send it back to myself than it is to make the same adjustments in Photoshop. Seconds instead of minutes, which adds up over the course of a day.
Other real-world uses are quick and easy image scrubbing, that quickly improves the overall color and lightness of an image, getting it to look natural and closer to what your eye sees.
Let us know in the comments below some of the ways you use Perfectly Clear.
Although the images from the iPhone 5 and 4S are much sharper and brighter than the older iPhones, I still use Perfectly Clear often to quickly add punch to images that may need a little help. There are other “fake flash” and DRC apps available, but none work as well as Perfectly Clear. Even with the improved cameras in the iPhone 5 and 4S, I consider Perfectly Clear a highly recommended photo app. If you’re still shooting with an iPhone 4 or older, this is an essential app.
