New Path Update Fixes iPhone Address Book Issue

Recently, several websites including AppleInsider reported on a bug in Path in which the app uploaded the entire contents of your iPhone’s address book to its servers. The address book upload has been removed and Path’s CEO Dave Morin has issued an apology on the app’s blog.

The name Paint FX suggests that it’s a paint program. It has a few paint-like effects, but it’s really more of a photo effects app that lets you “paint in” effects. While it has a lot of cool features, Paint FX has a few annoyances that keep it from being a great app for me.

Filterstorm 4.1 was recently released. Although this is a .1 version update, it adds some powerful new tools to the app.
