Photo Recap: Hipstamatic’s Live With Levi’s Holiday Party
Say what you will about Hipstamatic, but the developer Synthetic knows how to throw a party. Their most recent, “An Evening with HipstaClaus” was last Friday, December 10 in New York at the Levi’s® Photo Workshop. We’ve got pics.
One of our readers, jeannie, was there and has very graciously shared her pics of the event. Most of her photos were even shot with — you guessed it — Hipstamatic!
“The event was fun with lots of free drinks!” Sounds like a party.

Thanks for this write-up, Marty. The link to the official Hipstamatic photo stream is especially cool. From my vantage point in coastal Maine it's fun to see New York hipstas at play.
Man im a certified hipstaddict and it hurts my heart to not have been able to go looks like a real good and awesome time hopefully next time around. Ive been adding a bunch of my own stuff for the dali and holidays contests but who knows its especially tough when the submissions are voted on by tweets and facebook so really it seems that the art aspect has been tossed aside for the social networking clicks and so the more friends you have the greater the chance of winning, doesnt seem fair or justified and there should be judges in place to decide. Sorry for the ramble just frustrating but anyway great story and i love this site thanks
I wholly understand, Zak. I prefer curated exhibits and judged competitions rather than popularity contests. That way, the photography is more likely to stand (or fail) on its own.
