Is a “Real” Version of Photoshop Coming to iPad?

Photography Bay is reporting that a very slick version of Photoshop for iPad was previewed at the Photoshop World 2011 Keynote yesterday. This is not a larger version of the watered down Adobe Photoshop Express for iOS, but an entirely new build of the app that has more of the powerful features of the desktop version, including layers and some pretty sweet layers animation.

Version 3.0 of 100 Cameras in 1 was just released. If you liked the previous versions, this update is an improvement and gives you a few new cool features. Otherwise, the new stuff isn’t really compelling enough if you are on the fence about this one.

A “pinhole camera” effect is a popular one in iPhone photo apps. camera+ has even tried to perfect it in the last two app updates. A while back, Smashing Magazine ran a gallery of some pretty cool analog pinhole photography.

Opening This Week: Pixels: The Art of iPhone Photography at OCCCA

If you’re in the Los Angeles area this weekend, add to your plans the opening of “Pixels: The Art of iPhone Photography” at the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art (OCCCA). This important exhibition runs March 31 – April 28, 2011 and the opening is Saturday, April 2, 2011, 6 PM-10 PM.

LomoLomo is gone from the App Store. The free version has been replaced with the newly named LemeLemeHD. Read this before upgrading. In addition to a new nonsense name, the update’s changes are lame lame.

Camera+ 2.2 Update: Improved Auto-Focus and “Clarity”

The big new feature of this Camera+ update is a scene mode called Clarity. It’s a 1-tap image enhancement that makes photos look stunning. It blows away just about anything Apple does with their HDR.
