UPDATED 05.14.11 @ 09:45: Now with Buckhorst H1 samples. =M=

Hot on the heels of the release of the new Bondi HipstaPak, the Hipstamatic 210 just went live in the App Store and is now available for update or purchase.

Hipstamatic 210, new pinch-to-enlarge viewfinder

Here’s what’s new in Version 210:

• Twitter sharing (with images hosted by Hipstamatic)
• New free lens: Buckhorst H1
• New Bondi HipstaPak: featuring the Ben Watts lens — only available until September [This seems to be the Endless Summer HipstaPak mentioned in the preview, now renamed. =M=]
• Pinch-to-enlarge viewfinder (with tap-anywhere photo shooting while zoomed)
• Push notifications for new FreePaks, awesome contests, and other important Hipsta-news
• Completely rewritten-from-scratch and redesigned Recent Prints section
• Stacks no longer have a print limit
• Viewing of contest leaderboards and details in-app (and removal of the Flickr account requirement for entry)
• Ability to order prints and analog products from the Hipstamart in-app

I think I might be one of 24 people on the planet who liked the old, tiny Hipstamatic viewfinder, but I’ve got to admit that the new pinch-to-enlarge viewfinder is pretty cool!

The new Buckhorst H1 Lens now comes as standard equipment. It adds a faded, yellowed cast to the photos. It’s definitely not one Hipstamatic’s heavier filters and I like how it fades and “ages” an image.

The Hipstamatic app is available in the App Store for $1.99. Requirements: Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Requires iOS 3.1 or later.
