Life In LoFi and CanvasPop present Shades of Summer LoFi Photo Contest
This is a call for entries! Life In LoFi has teamed with CanvasPop to present the “Shades of Summer” LoFi Photo Contest — Life In LoFi’s first photo contest. The contest runs now through June 29, 2011. We’ve got some great prizes we’ll be giving away. Click past the jump to find out all the details and how to enter.
Prizes
Life In LoFi and CanvasPop present the “Shades of Summer” LoFi Photo Contest. The Winner gets an 18″x24″, 1.5″ depth gallery stretched canvas (value $119) and a showcase feature on the Life In LoFi blog. The People’ Choice winner also gets an 18″x24″, 1.5″ depth gallery stretched canvas (value $119) and a showcase feature on the Life In LoFi blog. The four other finalists will get an $80 CanvasPop gift certificate. All entrants get a $30 CanvasPop Gift Certificate.
Contest is open to residents of North America only.

The theme of the contest is “Shades of Summer.” You can be as broad in your interpretation of the summer theme as you want. All we ask is that your images are shot and processed using only an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch or other camera phone.
Our panel of judges will pick the top 5 finalists, then you get to vote for the winner. In addition, all images will be eligible to win the People’s Choice vote.

Why CanvasPop?

That said, that's not the case here. CanvasPop have proprietary techniques that they wouldn't share with me on how they tweak lower resolution images for enlargement and printing on canvas. Naturally, they can't create detail where there is none, but they can do some magic that mere mortals cant. It's one of the reasons I partnered with CanvasPop for this contest.

We don't really have a max size, it all depends on the resolution of the photo — iPhones are actually getting pretty good in that regard.
That said, if the resolution is low we have a variety of ways to enhance your photo for canvas printing, we specialize in low-resolution printing.
The best thing to do is contact us, we can help with a photo of any size, resolution or source (even physical photos that need to be scanned).

I doesn't seem that you can enter as many times as you like, as once I uploaded an image I was unable to upload another one, states that I have already entered the contest. Do you think this was an error? Might have uploaded a different image if I had known….
