TiltShift Generator is the app of choice for many iPhoneographers to create miniature toy effects. It’s also a great app to create shallow depth-of-field in an image or to apply a focus effect better than any other tiltshift apps. It also adds really nice saturation and contrast to an image.
A couple of new minor updates — version 1.55 has just been released — give this already excellent app a new blur style, eliminating one of the few advantages its competitor TiltShift has had.
In addition to Linear and Circular blurs, TiltShift Generator now features a very useful Elliptical blur. The most recent update now lets you control its width / height ratio using a two-finger pinch, which the previous update lacked.
In addition to the elliptical blur, the previous update also added an Auto Color Adjustment for slider setting. Now you can disable default auto adjustment. The Camera / Save button is is now blue colored for greater visibility.
TiltShift Generator is $0.99 in the App Store. There’s also a free, feature-limited version you can try before you buy, but really this app is well worth the dollar. Requirements: Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Requires iOS 3.0 or later
