Photo Power is what I call a mid-level photo editor iPhone app (think PhotoToaster or PicTools). It’s not PhotoForge2, Photogene2 or Filterstorm, but it’s got most of the tools you’re likely to use to process and tweak images. It has a good feature set for cropping and rotating, adjusting color and luminance, as well as 40 one-click filter presets. I found it to be a little slow and cranky compared to other apps in this class, especially when processing larger iPhone 4 and 4S images.
Photo Power is currently FREE right now. It’s normally $2.99 (but you almost never see it for that much). This is a good download if for users are currently using an all-in-one camera app who want to try a more full-featured photo processor without spending any cash. Grab it now. I have no idea how long this discount will last and it could go away at any time.
This download gets you in the update path. Hopefully, future updates will speed the app up and stabilize it a little bit.
