Faved On Flickr iPhoneography Showcase, 08.26.12

 

Here is this week’s Faved On Flickr. This one of the longest-running curated iPhoneography showcases on the web. I started sharing these showcases in August, 2010 as a way to share current works of iPhoneographers you may know along side outstanding works from those you might not be familiar with yet.

There was a lot of outstanding and dramatic iPhone photography submitted over the week. Here are some of the excellent images hand-picked from the those shared to Life In LoFi’s Flickr group.

Kerryn Benbow an iPhonegrapher with not only a great eye for a photograph, but also has a vivid imagination for transforming images of everyday life into dreamlike abstracts. This week’s lead image “Family” combines elements of dreamscapes and vintage processing for a very effective emotional photo.

Also in this week’s showcase is more great iPhoneography by ©arlein, Greg Schmigel, Alan Kastner, Cindy Patrick, Robert-Paul Jansen, Allison Pistohl, Carmen Cabrera, Jordan Cortese, Jay Harvey and many others. It’s another great showcase this week.

Submissions are open to everyone with an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. To be eligible, simply post your images to Life In LoFi’s Flickr group. Images must be shot and processed using only an iDevice. Sundays, we feature a brand new showcase of more great iPhone photography.
