Occipital ClearCam for iPhoneClearCam 1.7.2 was released recently. This update fixes an Enhanced Mode bug with the Verizon iPhone 4.

ClearCam promises clearer, sharper, and sometimes larger images from any iPhone. Recent updates open up the app’s image enhancement capabilities for the iPod Touch 4th Gen and really help the camera on that device. I’ve got 5 free promo codes to give away. Click past the jump to learn how to be eligible to win one. >>>

Right now, I’ve got free ClearCam promo codes to give away to five random readers who request one in the comments below. To win, request a code in the comments below. You can comment as many times as you like, but only your first comment will count. Cut-off time to enter is 11:00 PM Central Time today, Tuesday, March 1, 2011. Winners will be determined by random selection. This is for the full version of ClearCam. One code per reader, please. If you’re one of the winners, be sure I can email or DM you somehow.

ClearCam works on any iPhone or iPod Touch 4th Gen running iOS 4.0 or newer, although you need iOS 4.1 or newer to take advantage of the app’s EXIF data feature. Sorry, iPad owners, but your device doesn’t have a camera yet.

If you don’t get a promo code here, ClearCam is normally $1.99 in the App Store, but it’s currently on sale for $0.99 for a limited time. I think it’s a great app for any iPhone, but it really does some great stuff on a new iPod Touch 4th gen.
