Mammoth photo effects app FX Photo Studio has just been updated to version 4.1 and is available now in the App Store. The app has nearly 200 well-rendered photo effects and filters — something to please nearly everyone, built-in Send to Instagram integration, and a ton of other features. MacPhun is a great developer and they regularly update the app with cool new effects and requested features. You can read about the big previous update here.
Today’s new 4.1 update includes these new features:
- Enhanced masking tool with a possibility to customize size, softness and opacity of the brush; special preview window for a more precise painting with effects (for the areas that you cover with a finger); enhanced zooming feature
- NEW. Color Splash feature
- NEW. Saving of EXIF information of your images
It’s still old iPhone-friendly and will run on any iDevice. FX Photo Studio is $1.99 in the App Store. Requirements:Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Requires iOS 3.0 or later.
