I missed this feature’s anniversary last week. It’s been just over two years — Sunday, August 22, 2010. Faved On Flickr started with this image by Jose Chavarry. Since then, this feature has showcased many iPhoneographers — well-known alongside not so well-known and those who would go on to be some of iPhoneography’s most exciting artists today. We’ve shared a lot of iPhoneographers who no longer share here and many who have just moved on. Before we get into this week’s selections, my thanks to each and every photographer who have shared their works in the Flickr group and allowed me to share a some of them here.
This week’s lead image is from one of our longer-standng contributors, mutablend. “My Heartfelt Gift Via Dreams” is not just a stunning fantasy work, it’s also a personal wedding gift for one of the photographer’s friends.
Several images in this week’s showcase were also selected for our Twitter and Google+1 feature, Life In LoFi’s Daily Pic, including works from Donna French, Hans Borghorst, Roger Guetta and our lead image. Follow @LifeInLoFiBlog on Twitter or Google+1 to see each day’s image.
Also in this week’s showcase are works from Robert-Paul Jansen, Paula Gardener, Jaime Ferreyros, Igor Phomin, melle Amo, John Mallon, Cindy Patrick, Sarah Jarrett, and many others.
Links go back to the iPhoneographer’s Flickr photostream. I encourage you to follow the links to discover new artists whose work catches your eye.
Submissions are open to everyone with an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. To be eligible, simply post your images to Life In LoFi’s Flickr group. Images must be shot and processed using only an iDevice. Sundays, we feature a brand new showcase of more great iPhone photography.
There are many other outstanding works posted in our Flickr group. Be sure to stop by there and have a look.
I hope you find images here that move and inspire you. As always, it’s the iPhoneographers who deserve the credit.

Just Meant To Be
What would happen
if you loved me so much
you just had to be with me,
and I loved you so much
I just had to be with you ?
Wouldn’t we find a way ?
Wouldn’t we just have to
find a way ?
Wouldn’t we find a way to see
that everything the gods had
given us was just a way for us
to find each other . As though
your mythology was half the map and my mythology was the other half, and it’s just meant to be.
Just meant to be.
