Polamatic has a number of great features that I really like, but still has enough problems to keep me from giving it an enthusiastic recommendation.

Layover is the closest thing I’ve found to Photoshop-style layers on the iPhone. Other apps have layers as part of the workflow, including Filterstorm, Image Blender, Photo Wizard and others, but they don’t behave quite like layers in Adobe Photoshop for desktop. Today, we’re giving away several copies of Layover for iPhone and iPad.
