The kick-off event for Pixels – The Art of the iPhone at Apple was last night at the San Francisco Apple store. This was the first iPhone photography event directly associated with Apple.

Other Pixels at Apple events are scheduled for Chicago on Thursday, October 21 and New York City on Friday, October 29. Los Angeles and London events are also planned. If you are near one of the cities, these are must-see events. Not only is the iPhoneography amazing, but you’ll have a chance to meet and talk with some of the artists whose work is on display, or meet others through the excellent video put together by iPhoneographer Dan Berman.

Curator Knox Bronson also coordinated the first brick-and-mortar iPhoneography exhibit, “Pixels at an Exhibition” in Berkeley, California in earlier this year.
