Wow, wow, wow! Although we recently posted about Hipstamatic’s new Chunky GoodPak in the upcoming Hipstamatic 200, we didn’t have all the good stuff from this upcoming update until now. It looks like HipstaMatic 200 is getting some great new features, the Chunky lens will be FREE and there’s an additional HipstaPak available with this update.

You can see samples of the new Chunky lens here. It’ll only be available free for a very short time when it’s released. After the 17th, it’ll be available as part of yet another HipstaPak (which, I’m sure most of us will be purchasing anyway).

It all goes live tomorrow, February 10, 2011, worldwide. Servers, prepared to be swamped….

Read on for the official press release from Hipstamatic.

Hipstamatic 200 gets Chunky with the new M.A.C & Milk FashionPak

Verizon’s not the only iPhone news happening on February 10th. iPhone’s App of the year, Hipstamatic, has teamed up with iconic fashion photographer Chiun-Kai Shih, A.K.A “Chunky”, of GQ fame to create a beautiful new fashion lens. The saturated new lens comes complete with sparkle and cinematic brilliance. The “Chunky” lens is available as part of a new HipstaPak that becomes available with the release of the latest update — Hipstamatic 200.

The Hipstamatic 200 is our biggest update ever with two key features:

• Quicksta Snap film queue system – as you shoot images are processed in the background, enabling you to rapid-fire up to nine images in a row without waiting for processing (requires iOS 4)
• Camera Bag organization system – rearrange and disable lenses, flashes, and films, as well as specifying ones for shake-to-randomize

As part of the celebration, M.A.C & Milk Fashion Week have partnered with Hipstamatic to make the “Chunky” lens available as a free download for Hipstamatic users from Feb 10 – Feb 17. During fashion week, Hipstamatic photographers will be rocking out the new M.A.C & Milk Fashion Freepak with new up and coming designers – bringing you exclusive behind the scenes shots from the runway shows, the VIP Lounge and the after-parties. You can be part of the action by submitting to our new Fashion Contest. It’s time to get out your fiercest attire and walk the streets like its your runway. Check it out here.

After the 17th you can find the Chunky Lens as part of our new SOHO HipstaPak that comes complete with two new films: 1.Blanko Noir – Classic, black and Handsome & 2.Cano Cafenol Film – Mysteriously aged darkness found only in a cup of morning joe. To top things off,  a shiny new “Mr. Bling” gold case.
