FiLMiC Pro is billed as “THE Filmmakerâ€™s App.” They are pretty close. FiLMiC Pro adds features specifically for videographers which improve the video production experience on the iPhone.
Super 8â„¢, the official iPhone app of the upcoming Super 8â„¢ blockbuster is in the app store now. It’s FREE for a limited time. That’s a steal. This app is awesome. Grab it now. Of course, the movie tie-in would be a Super 8 emulator. It’s nothing like you’d expect. I thought the app would be weak, feature-lite Super 8 camera app that beats you over the head with movie tie-in. Wrong on both accounts.
One very cool new feature in the next major upgrade of Camera Plus Pro is video for all iPhones, including older ones. And from a sample clip released this week, it looks like the quality of that video is pretty decent for a phone cam.
