It was a tough week. Just as I was about to gather last week’s Faved, the tragic news about Nacho hit the net. The iPhoneography community is small and close-knit. Word traveled fast. Suddenly, we had other priorities.
So, one week later, I went back the extra week for this expanded Faved. Here is this week’s showcase from the more than 2,000 images shared in the group over the past two weeks.

Bharat / the _bman’s “Girl with lighthouse II” is brilliant mash up of two photographs by petervanallen and pikedonna and is an unbelieveable exercise in apping. He used Iris, PhotoForge2, Juxtaposer, C4LA, ArtStudio, Retouch, NewsFlash, Balloon and I’m glad he shared the recipe for this great Pop piece. This week, there are also some great pieces by Kerryn Benbow, Tamara Manning, ©arlein, Jaime Ferryros, Dixon Hamby, Marco La Civita, Jose Chavarry, Valerie Ardini, Carmen Cabrera, Benamon Tame, Roger Guetta, Hideous Manki, and many other excellent iPhoneographers. There’s also a beautiful piece by Nacho Cordova that he submitted before last Saturday. It’s one of his found moment captures and something that Nacho did so well.
Hopefully, these images inspire to create — they demonstrate what the iPhone is capable of as a camera and a processing tool.
Whenever possible, I’ve used the photographer’s real name in the caption, not the Flickr nick. This gives proper credit and recognition to the photographers and to better enable the viewer to get to know better each photographer and their work. Links go directly to the iPhoneographer’s Flickr photostream. If you like what you see, please click and check out their other work.
For your chance to be seen, all you have to do is be a member of the Flickr group, post, and keep adding great images. Here’s the link to Life In LoFi on Flickr. Then, check back here every Sunday (mostly) — we’ll have more.
Even if you haven’t shared your photography here, I hope you enjoy the images in this week’s showcase. Many thanks to all who post their works and let me share them.
