Faved on Flickr — The Super Bowl Edition. While everyone else here in Dallas/Fort Worth has been braving The Frozen Tundra that the Packers have brought with, I’ve been scouring Flickr for this week’s excellent collection.
Here is a small number of the outstanding images that were posted to the Life In LoFi group on Flickr over the past week or so. Even if you don’t upload, please be sure to look over our Flickr group. There are many many many great images that don’t get posted here.
Today, I’m pleased to present another strong collection of images. Again, it was very difficult narrowing down the choices for this week’s post. Again, this will be one of two Faved posts. I’ve got another special Faved I’ll be posting this week.

I’ve been a fan of the work of Carlein van der Beek, aka ©arlein, for some time. Her lead image this week is an excellent example of the progression of her vision. More gritty, less pulpy. Carlein is an iPhoneographer with a truly unique vision.
There was more great street photography submitted this week, including great photos from Greg Schmigel, Valerie Ardini, rui correia, and lolo.
Aga Dhiyaulhaq’s Self Portrait is both striking and unsettling. It’s also a very impressive bit of production — an excellent blend of apps.
Gladly Beyond’s image “Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday” tells a great, simple story. Patrick Shourd’s, “Follow the Palms” is a great pano and an interesting bend. The monochrome processing adds a bit of nostalgia to this excellent Southern California scene.
Links go directly to each iPhoneographer’s Flickr photostream. If you like what you see, please click and check out their other work. For your chance to be seen, all you have to do is be a member of the Flickr group, post, and keep adding great images. If you haven’t joined yet, here’s the link to Life In LoFi on Flickr. Then, check back here Sunday — we’ll have more.
Even if you haven’t shared your photography here, I hope you enjoy these images and are inspired by them. Many thanks to all who post and share.
I hope you enjoy this week’s gallery.
