Greetings from Los Angeles this weekend! LA is a great photogenic city and a unique history that comes from its growth as a very 20th century city and now as an exciting 21st century city as well.
Here’s this week’s edition of Life In LoFi’s regular Sunday showcase, Faved On Flickr. For new iPhone owners or for those new to this blog, this is our weekly showcase of photography that is shot and processed (or in some cases created) solely on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. New and established iPhoneographers share their great mobile photography in the Life In LoFi group on Flickr.
Here is some excellent iPhoneography to inspire your own work. Click past the jump for this week’s gallery. >>>
This week there were a lot of impressive photographs submitted, in particular a lot of great monochromes and black & whites from Dixon Hamby, Greg Schmigel, Shel Serkin, Scott Woodward and many others. There were also some outstanding and powerful abstracts from iPhoneographers Max Berkowitz, Michael Andrade, and another brilliant series from Lynette Jackson. This week there are other great works from including Michael Sutton’s great lead image “Walking on Sunshine,” Jill Gaupin, Andy Royston, Chris Harland, Paul Moore, Max Berkowitz, Clint Cline and many others.
Links go back to the iPhonegrapher’s Flickr photostream. I encourage you to follow the links and discover new iPhoneographers whose work catches your eye.
Submissions are open to everyone with an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. All you have to do to submit your photography is to post your images to Life In LoFi on Flickr. On Sundays, we feature a brand new showcase of outstanding iPhone photography.
Please enjoy this week’s set. As always, many thanks to all of the iPhoneographers who post and share their photography.
