The FX Photo Studio 4.0 update hit the App Store. This update adds plenty of new features to this excellent iPhone photo app, including new filters, masking, and new file sharing options.

Recently ClassicTOY and ClassicSAMP were updated. They were both listed as a “minor update (just a few bug fixes)”, but I also noticed that both apps now require a minimum of iOS 4.2 to run.

It’s a sad day in the iPhoneography community. This weekend, we lost one of our own. Yesterday, Nathaniel “Nacho” Cordova was involved in a fatal collision involving his motorcycle and a pickup truck pulling a 29-foot trailer.

The unofficial “Guide to Hipstamatic” iPhone photo app has been causing quite a controversy these days. It seems the app grabs images from Flickr groups, specifically Hipstamatic-oriented Flickr groups and uses the photos to illustrate Hipsta’s various films.
